DC Shoes x SE Bikes PK Ripper Collection

DC Shoes is proud to introduce the PK Ripper Fixed Gear, the third installment in a series of limited edition bike projects from DC and SE Racing, all designed to embrace the heritage of the brand and the sport. A collector’s item, the PK Ripper Fixed Gear bike production will be limited to only 2,500 bikes worldwide. The Fixed Gear collaboration mixes a touch of 1970’s bike nostalgia with modern bike performance features. Inspirations for the PK Ripper Fixed Gear bike‘s design aesthetic stem directly from the original DC x SE Racing PK Ripper collaboration.
The new fixed gear bike design details are directly inspired from the classic PK Ripper BMX bike, complete with Floval tubing, Landing Gear fork and Looptail rear end. This blend of old school BMX and a modern fixed gear bike not only takes its cues from the PK Ripper BMX construction but also its colorways—Matte Black and Ball Burnished Silver.DC and SE Racing first joined together in 2007 for their exclusive limited edition project “30 Years of Radness.” The project honored 30-plus years of BMX history, and DC and SE Racing celebrated with a re-release of the PK Ripper bike in its original aesthetic for an exclusive limited edition quantity. In 2008, DC and SE Racing joined forces once again with the release of the DC x SE Racing 24” Quadangle. The Quadangle, or the Quad Looptail as it was known, was a 1980’s freestyle classic, and for the second collaboration DC and SE Racing re-released the BMX bike in for the first time ever, in a 24” version the same classic frame.
The DC PK Ripper Fixed Gear bike’s Matte Black and Ball Burnished Silver colorways will both be limited to only 1,250 each worldwide. Available now through ShopOverload.com.

Miley Cyrus Pole Dances, Kinda...

OMG, why do I feel the same way I did 2 years ago when I saw Hilary Duff on the cover of Maxim Magazine? Not only did she booty pop, rock her hips, dropped it like it like it was hot on the pole, I can see parts of Miley's bra, AND ITS SEE-THROUGH!!! Not only are people talking about her risque performance at last nights Teen Choice Awards, her red carpet attire got a lot of attention too! I have officially seen too much this year! And I have to keep reminding myself that this chick is only 16. You can watch the full award show here.
PS; I'm kinda digging her vocals on this song.

We Were Once A Fairy Tale

Directer Spike Jonze has once again teamed up with Kanye West for a short film entitled "We Were Once A Fairy Tale". Details are few and sketchy, but the film is supposedly going to be available on iTunes September 8th. Hopefully the film is based on Kanye's "See You In My Nightmares" of witch it gets its title.

Nike SB 7-Ply Blazer Customs by Brad Douglas

Evoking thoughts of various skateboard/skatedeck inspired releases from Nike SB in the past including a rendition by Michael Lau, Brad Douglas raises the bar to another level with his “7-Ply” Blazer customs. The detailed lasered wood grain leather also includes various grip tape hits throughout as well as truck hardware on the heel.

Chris Boardman’s Theft-proof & Puncture-free Bicycle

Olympic cyclist Chris Boardman shows off his unique bike design which he not only says will be common in 20 years but is also theft-proof and features puncture-free tires. The futuristic-looking creation boasts a complete carbon fiber body with a built-in locking anti-theft mechanism which can only be activated by the touch of the bike owner’s fingerprints. Addition features include a calorie monitoring system, battery-powered assistance, and aforementioned puncture-free tires that have the ability to self-inflate. “It could be built now if there was a will. All the technologies are already there, it’s just that nobody’s put them all together before,” Boardman says.
I think I want to become a bicycle connoisseur.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. It tells the story of Dr Parnassus and his extraordinary 'Imaginarium', a traveling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom. Blessed with the extraordinary gift of guiding the imaginations of others, Dr Parnassus is cursed with a dark secret. Long ago he made a bet with the devil, Mr Nick, in which he won immortality. Many centuries later, on meeting his one true love, Dr Parnassus made another deal with the devil, trading his immortality for youth, on condition that when his first-born reached its 16th birthday he or she would become the property of Mr Nick. Valentina is now rapidly approaching this 'coming of age' milestone and Dr Parnassus is desperate to protect her from her impending fate. Mr Nick arrives to collect but, always keen to make a bet, renegotiates the wager. Now the winner of Valentina will be determined by whoever seduces the first five souls. Enlisting a series of wild, comical and compelling characters in his journey, Dr Parnassus promises his daughter's hand in marriage to the man that helps him win. In this captivating, explosive and wonderfully imaginative race against time, Dr Parnassus must fight to save his daughter in a never-ending landscape of surreal obstacles - and undo the mistakes of his past once and for all. And just in case you're wondering, this was the last film Heath Ledger did before his untimely death early last year. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrel joined the cast to finish his role without pay. The money went to Matilda, Ledger's daughter.

Sara Stokes Stabs Her Husband

According to TMZ Sara Stokes, former member of Diddy's "Da Band", has allegedly stabbed her husband.
This bloody mug shot was taken after Stokes was arrested for domestic violence August 2 at their home in Moreno Valley, CA.
According to law enforcement sources, Sara stormed out of the house after arguing with husband Tony — she tripped, fell down and accused him of doing it.
We’re told Sara — who hurt her head in the fall — grabbed a knife and stabbed Tony in the arm — while their 3 kids watched.
Paramedics and cops came and Stokes was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The D.A. is deciding whether to charge her.
Sara’s lawyer, Eric Kayira, tells us, “Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”
Well, I can say I am quite shocked. I always thought she was the good one.

Maxwell "Bad Habits"

Look at Maxwell making a mini movie! Kudos to whomever got Kerry Washington to play the "other woman". I'm just mad they cut the song short. Hopefully this guy will release a longer version in the next few weeks.

I wonder if Chris Stokes is still his manager lol.
