Follow Friday: Machinedrum
Posted by malik|alexander at 3:59 PMMachinedrum aka Travis Stewart has worked with various unique artists, fusing different genres to create something satisfying no matter what you’re into: hip-hop, dub, breaks, glitch, house, jazz, and the list goes on. No matter what your scene, you should enjoy. Although little is known about this up and coming producer and DJ from Brooklyn, guy hear has been giving me eargasm after eargasm for the last year and a half. His work can be heard all over the mixtapes of Mickey Factz, and Theophilus London. He also goes by Syndrone and T.Stewart.
If you recognize his production style, thats because you've probably heard some of his work on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. For more music and information, checkout his myspace page, Myspace.com/Machinedrum.

Ladies and gents, I give you Follow Friday. Based loosely on the idea started by Twitter, each Friday I will introduce you to people in various industries whom I think will enhance your life. We start with Danielle Polanco. Unarguably most recognized for staring opposite Omarion in his 2006 hit music video "Touch", and for her supporting role in Step Up 2 the Streets, Danielle is one of the dance industry's elite dancers who, by the ripe age of 23, has built an extensive and impressive resume. Her unusual combination of hip-hop, popping, and voguing has gained her much attention in the music industry. A few of her video appearances include Beyonce's "Check On It" (2005), Janet Jackson's "So Excited" (2006), Beyonce's "Get Me Bodied" (and damn near every other video off B'day)(2007), Usher "Love In This Club" (2008), Chris Brown's "Forever" (2008), and Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" (2008).
Click here to view an interview she did a few years ago. Danielle Polanco can now be seen on Broadway in "West Side Story".
