Man, I just want to say thanx to everyone who fuax with Bloody Vans. I was gonna do a thank you for the 1,000th post, but I think this is 1,003. I'm looking at the site statistics and it just blows me away how far this blog has come in suck a short period of time. Especially this year so far. It took me a year to get 20,000 hits, and now I'm on the verge of getting 20,000 more hits in a third of the time. Even though it may not be a lot to some, its a lot to that spacey college kid [me] who didn't expect much. I remember when the shit was at ZERO lol. LeToya Luckett Addresses Mathew Knowles

I've been hearing a lot about Mathew Knowles lately. The man has been popping off at the mouth lately, not necessarily about LeToya, but he has been in the headlines. I don't know if its true or not, but it would be such a bad look for Beyonce. Kinda like "Dream Girls" for real lol. Shame on you Effie.

Nike Sportswear - Air Flytop Premium Quick Strike

A mix of new with a hint of vintage, the Nike Air Flytop Premium is the new addition to Nike Sportswear Fall 2009 product line-up. Ankle high upper in premium leather, along with either challenge red or varsity blue accents. Peel back the Velcro ankle strap to reveal the words “Air Flytop”. Comes in the usual white laces and a reflective one as well. Available in limited numbers, currently at selected retailers with Tier-0 status, including Stockholm’s Caliroots.

Sixpack x DC Shoes Double Label Collection

DC unveils its Fall 2009 Double Label™ Project with Sixpack France. The project featuring their popular Xander model and apparel marks the most extensive collaborative project to date for the DC brand. Dubbed “Non Merci”, the Sixpack Collection draws from inspirations that cross political borders, embrace impossible love and yet harbor deep feelings. Meaning “no thanks” in French, the translation of “Non Merci” can also be interpreted as “I’m over it.” For the project, the symbol of this mindset is a beautiful blonde model that exudes “Non Merci”, placing her on an untouchable pedestal as an object of desire. Her image is displayed across the collection’s footwear and apparel line up that boasts a leather metro jacket, reversible coaches jacket, and t-shirt.

Nike RT1 High 2009 Summer Releases

Nike introduces two new colorways in their RT1 high tops, often coined as the poor man Yeezys. The sneakers are offered in a grey/lime color scheme boasting leather and suede uppers while the other colorway features a “Tiffany” reminiscent nubuck/patent leather combo. Both are now arriving at select Nike stockists, including Proper.

Reebok 7 Deadly Sins Pack - Greed, Pride & Sloth Sneakers

I might actually get a pair of these. Reebok released three colorways from their 7 Deadly Sins Pack, which narrows in on the sportswear brand’s iconic Pump Omni Lite model. Out of seven scheduled releases, three have now made their way to Reebok accounts including Greed (Electric Yellow), Pride (Purple), and Sloth (Azure). The tonal color efforts are complimented with special lace locks, each representing a deadly sin. All three are now available through EastWestWorldwide.com while the remaining pairs will drop in August and September of this year.
