Zeitgeist, The Movie

Zeitgeist, the Movie is a 2007 documentary film by Peter Joseph about historical and modern conspiracies, including the origins of Christianity, the September 11 2001 terrorist attacks, and the banking system. Due to subject matter and the unorthodox methods used in citing the sources for the information presented, many of the statements and sources in the film are very controversial.
I was recently reminded of how thought provoking this documentary is. I wrote about it before, but i think its really worth going back to. Sara Stokes Stabs Her Husband

According to TMZ Sara Stokes, former member of Diddy's "Da Band", has allegedly stabbed her husband.

This bloody mug shot was taken after Stokes was arrested for domestic violence August 2 at their home in Moreno Valley, CA.
According to law enforcement sources, Sara stormed out of the house after arguing with husband Tony — she tripped, fell down and accused him of doing it.
We’re told Sara — who hurt her head in the fall — grabbed a knife and stabbed Tony in the arm — while their 3 kids watched.
Paramedics and cops came and Stokes was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The D.A. is deciding whether to charge her.
Sara’s lawyer, Eric Kayira, tells us, “Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”

Well, I can say I am quite shocked. I always thought she was the good one.

I usually don't blog about tragedies or celebrity drama, but this is something that definitely caught my attention. As you all should know by now actor David Carradine, the guy that played Bill in the Kill Bill movies, was found dead a few days ago in Thailand naked and hung in his hotel closet with ropes tied around his wrists and genitals. At first, speculations of suicide were all over the internet, now the New York Post reports that "a secret sect of kung fu assassins could have silenced actor David Carradine as he delved into their shadowy activities, according to his family’s lawyer." Attorney Mark Geragos suggested that Carradine may have been killed as he tried to uncover groups working in the martial-arts underworld.
The lawyer said the actor’s family refuses to believe he died in a sadomasochistic sex stunt gone wrong — despite his being found naked with a rope tied around his neck, wrists and genitals.
The bizarre claim was made on “Larry King Live” on CNN Friday after a panel member said, “David was very interested in investigating and disclosing secret societies.”
“What that means is connected to martial arts and his interest in martial arts,” he continued. “And so there is a suspicion that if there was some foul play, that that may be the first area where they should look.”
Is this not the best thing you've heard this decade? My only hope is that when I die people speculate that I may have been killed by secret ninjas!

Whats Wrong With This Picture

More than a few people are in a uproar over this new Black princess movie being made by Disney. First people were upset because this princes has some type of curse that makes her ugly at some point in the film. Now folks are upset because she falls in love with a racially ambiguous prince. I, for one, am on the fence. In no way am I against interracial dating, but lets check Disney's credentials. Aladdin and Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty and her prince, Snow White and her prince, The Little Mermaid, the cartoon Cinderella; what do all these characters have in common? Now check this new movie, and the Cinderella with Brandy and Whitney Houston; what do they have in common? I'm just saying.....

Radiohead Announces New Album in the Works

In a recent interview with the BBC, Radiohead have announced that the follow up album to their 2007’s “In Rainbows” is in the early stages of recording. Bassist Colin Greenwood revealed of their initial recordings: “It was very noisy and chaotic and really fun…It’s at the stage where we’ve got the big Lego box out and we’ve tipped it out on the floor and we’re just looking at all the bits and thinking what’s next?” Im super excited.

According to MSNBC.com, The secretary of the Senate on Tuesday turned Roland Burris away from taking the seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama. Burris left the Capitol offices of the secretary, Nancy Erickson, after a meeting of about 20 minutes.
In a bizarre rainy-day scene on the Capitol grounds as lawmakers awaited the gaveling of the 111th Congress into session, Burris stood amid a huge throng of reporters and television cameras and declared that he had been informed that "my credentials are not in order and will not be accepted."
He said he was "not seeking to have any type of confrontation" over taking the seat that he was appointed to by embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. But Burris also said he was looking at options for taking the seat, but Democratic leaders were determined to keep him out of the exclusive club. The immediate reason is that his letter of appointment has not been signed by the Illinois secretary of state.

This Blagojevich guy just seems to be messing stuff up for everyone.

This is Depressing.....

Today another leading bank collapsed. So much for the government looking out for us..... But never fear, Obama is here to make the economy "Stronger" lol.
