Remebering 9/11

Today is not the day for me to write an extensive essay about my personal conspiracy theories. Today is not a day for me to question how all systems could have failed at the same time. Today, simply, my thoughts and prayers are with those who still grieve over this tragedy. Today I remeber 9/11.

The zeroHouse

The zeroHouse by Specht Harpman, a New York City-based firm, is deliberately placeless. It could be erected in Vermont or in Texas, where its unbuilt design won the 2007 Studio Award from the Texas Society for Architects. A slew of high-efficiency techniques afford the house its full energy independence: solar panels store and produce power, allowing a fully charged zeroHouse to operate continuously for up to one week with no sunlight; a rainwater collection plane gathers and diverts water into an elevated 2200-gallon cistern; gravity-fed plumbing fixtures eliminate the need for power-consuming pumps; a compost unit beneath the house processes organic waste and converts it into clean, dry fertilizer that needs to be removed only twice a year; and a high-efficiency heating and air-conditioning system is separately zoned for sleeping and living areas.

While it's Specht Harpman's smart design that keeps the house running on nothing, all functions of the house are monitored by an array of sensors and regulated by a “house brain” that can be controlled through any laptop computer. Fully customizable for personal usage patterns, zeroHouse can be used as a weekend getaway or for an extended stay.

Formal name of project: zeroHouse

Location: The zeroHouse is being marketed worldwide. It has been designed to work within an operational range of 36 N to 36 S latitude for year-round occupancy, and 47 N to 47 S for partial-year occupancy.

Gross square footage: 650 sq. ft.

Completion Date (Month and Year): Unbuilt

Total construction cost: $350,000

Architect:

Black Man in Elevator LMAO!

So Now Barack is Sexist AND Wants SexEd for Five Year Olds????

I don't know about you people out there in cyber space, but I am sick to death with this McCain Palin ticket! All they ever do is run their mouth...

And whats up with this theme of being a maverick? Sarah Palin and John McCain are not mavericks. Palin did that big speech earlier this week saying how as governor of Alaska she put the governor's jet on EBay; lie. She said that she got rid of the governor's chef; lie. She did, however, change the title of the chef who still made meals for her family. She did charge the state of Alaska $50 per night for her to live in her own home. McCain voted along side W. Bush 90% of the time when he was in the senate. That's not very maverick-ish. I promise, if Barack loses this election, I WILL be moving out of the country within the next two years.

Usher to be a Father Again

It has been confirmed that Usher is expecting to be a father again.
Usher is going to be a father for the second time. The R&B star and his wife Tameka Foster are expecting their second child together, a source close to the singer confirms. Recently, Foster was spotted wearing a belly-disguising outfit during Usher’s Sept. 4 NFL kick-off concert in New York. The dress was “very deceiving,” the source says. “You couldn’t tell she was pregnant when she was sitting down.”

Congratulations to both of them.

The Cool Kids "Pennies"

Brandy "Departed"

I know I'm like 5 days late with this lol.

A Good Ass Job

As I suspected, Kanye West is scheduled to release his fourth studio album by the end of the year. Al thought he title is yet to be confirmed, it has been tentatively dubbed A Good Ass Job.
The first single to be released today is entitled Love LockDown [which was performed last night at the VMAs], while the album is due in December. And dammit, I must say, Kanye has indeed done a good ass job. Graduation did wonders for his career; the tour made mega bucks; and his latest work is still being played all over the radio and television. I personally am very interested in the new direction he is taking hip hop, and I'm sure the upcoming album will be another hit.

DNA Don't Lie!!!!!!!

OooooooooooH! Damn, I did say this Palin scandal was better than TV! Wow..... boy oh boy, if that baby comes out with a tan!

The VMAs

I absolutely must start off by congratulating Brittney Spears. She won her first moonman last night. Not only did she win one, but she got three [one for each category she was nominated for]. Finally the world got to see the adult Brittney. She was well composed and was in great shape.
But anywho, I was pleasantly surprised by the VMAs this year. I still hate the fact that MTV didn't host it in NYC. There were a lot of good performances though. Rihanna FINALLY performed with a little personality! She did an excellent job opening the show and also the duet with T.I. was great. Christina Aguilera, I must say, is the new Madonna. The woman has changed her image several hundred times in the past decade. I guarantee she will still be making music when shes 50. And with that body, she definitely deserves around of applause for being in shape so soon after delivering a baby.
Overall, the awards were solid this year. The only issue I had was with Russel Brand. What is up with that guy? I seriously don't know if that was an act or if he is just weird like that. Watching him was like watch a Shakespearean train wreck. At times I could hardly understand the dude. Also He poked too much at the Jonas Brothers. So what they all wear promise rings to remind them of their commitment to their own virginity. As Jordan Sparks said, "Not everyone wants to be a slut!"
Last, but not least, Kanye West; the man actually came back to MTV with a new song [love lockdown] after throwing a hissy fit last year. Apparantly when he said he would "never" come back to MTV, "never" meant 364 days.

Ciara DOES Vibe Mag

Hmmm..... I honestly am at a loss for words [syke]. I was really mad when Ciara did that video with 50 cent, but this.... I don't know. Its always the chicks that don't have any singing talent that always push the envelope and try to be looked at as sex symbols, not that I'm mad at that. Its just that the half of me thats an amature music critic is turning his nose up while the other half of me thats just a regular dude is turning domething else up lol. Now that I think about it, I would like to retract my comments about Vibe Mag being slightly racist. CLEARLY this is why Robin thicke didn't get the cover lol.

Wow.......

......but the album is good. The album is good.....
