Obama is a Rock Star and Jesse Jackson can get it in the Ear!

After an interview with a Fox “News” correspondent, Jesse Jackson conveniently whispered that he wanted to “cut Obama’s nuts off” while on camera. Of course this uncle Tom apologized stating “Well, they were hurtful and wrong, that’s the whole point,” Jackson said of his words. “And when you make mistakes you should not equivocate. You should be quick to go into offensive and not try to be evasive. And if it was said to him personally or in some public forum it would be even more hurtful. In this case, my error was responding to a question before a live mic. And so when he does hear them they will not be helpful; they will be hurtful. We have a relationship that can survive this.” Obama accepted.
It doesn't matter thought, Obama is still a rock star.....

Guess Whose Back in the News......

JonBenet Ramsey (Agust 6, 1990 - December 26, 1996) was a child beauty pageant contestant made famous by her Chirstmas time murder and the subsequent media coverage. She was found dead in the basement of her parents' home in Bolder, Colorado, nearly eight hours after she was reported missing. The case is notable in both its longevity and the media interest it has generated in the US. After several grand jury hearings, the case is still unsolved.

Apparently people just cant let this one go, and frankly, this slightly grinds my gears. Not to take anything away for this little girls life, but I just don't understand why this country is obsessed with missing and dead white women. Black women make up over 33% of all missing persons in the U.S. Why is it that we never hear their stories?

Ooo Sh*t Now! Can't Wait for This!

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor stars Brendan Fraser reprising his role as explorer Rick O'Connell, along with his son Alex (Luke Ford) wife Evelyn (Maria Bello, taking over the character from Rachel Weisz) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah). The two parents are now retired, but they must stop the resurrected tyrannical Han, the Dragon Emperor (Jet Li), a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse, and whose army was found by 18-year old Alex. The Emperor now wishes to rebuild his empire, and threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service with his Terracotta Army. Their chances of stopping him are thin, for the Emperor has not only an army of great magnitude, but controls the five elements. The undead Terracotta Army faces another, smaller, raised-from-the-dead army made of the Dragon Emperor's enemies, who died when they were crushed under the Great Wall of China. This is bound to be one of the greatest action films of this year. Brendan Fraser against Jet Li????! You know Jet is gonna be whoopin that ass!

I'm Really Feeling this One Here

Grind Mode - "Shes so Fly [I'm so High]"

The grind. The word is used so much in Hip-Hop circles that it’s almost cliché but now and again there comes an act that epitomizes the word. Hailing from various parts of the Hip-Hop haven that is Miami, Grind Mode is poised to be the next superstar rap group. With the upcoming release of their debut album, I Will Grind, rappers Andre “McKlezie” Wallace, Yvan “Hunger” Benony and Jeremy “Chaos” Hannah are out to maintain their city’s rap dominance with an indelible brand of genre bending, club ready Hip-Hop music.
Even thought the lyrical content of this one is kinda slack, and the beat reminds me of Sensual Seduction, this song is still the ish right now. Plus the kaleidoscope effect used in the video is tight.

Flashback Video: Beyonce "Deja Vu"

I remeber a while back, this video was silently playing while I was at Best Buy, and I was like damn! Beyonce really did her thing in this video.....

I'm having A Boondocks Moment

The Boondocks - Return of the King

The Boondocks - The Garden Party

Aaron McGruder is a freakin genius. Ronald Reagan was the devil, BET is trash, and racial prejudice + the love of money is the underlying root of all evil.

The Lupe Tee

Karmaloop held a T-shirt contest for Lupe Fiasco's album "The Cool." They asked participants to make a design based their interpretation of the album. All Black People don't Live in the Ghetto???????!

Are you effin serious? In a previous post I noted how BET's Baldwin Hills is a cheap knock off of The Hills on MTV. I also stated that BET was promoting the DVD way before the season started. What I failed to realize is that the DVD is of the first season [the second starts tonight]. I didnt know there ever was a first season of this bull! BET is so lame. there is absolutely nothing origional on this channel. Deborah Lee [CEO of BET] is a fuckin sell-out. Ever since Viacom took over BET is just a bunch of ignant crap. I know they saw that episode of the Boondocks. And lets discuss the opening of this show...... "Not all Black people live in the ghetto?????!" Really????!!!! Man, BET is on some serious bull for putting this on! They really might be out to destroy black people after all! Has anyone noticed that commercial where KFC is sposoring the Black Family Reunion??????! Talk about perpetuating a stereotype.

Currently Reading: Roots

So, I'm currently reading Roots by Alex Haley. No coincident that I'm also currently pissed off. All I can say is that this book right here is some serious stuff. Anyone and everyone should read this book. There's this one part that talks about how slaves put on a happy face and pretended to be cheerful around their "masters", but as soon as they turned their backs they were resentful and bitter. If this ain't the same mental bull that happens today! All black people need to get with this. Sure its long [688 pages], but its a good read and a compelling story. at least watch the movie.
