Cassie Fights Cancer with Nipple Rings?
Posted by maLik ΙΦΘ at 3:24 PM
Cassie recently opened up and spoke on why she pierced her nipples…Sexy R&B star CASSIE had her nipples pierced to help her keep breast cancer at bay. The pretty 22 year old’s mother is a two-time breast cancer survivor and the singer was recently tested to make sure she was free of the disease. After the check-up, Cassie had her nipples pierced in a bid to show cancer she was a fighter. She says, “I got my piercings before I got my results, like positive energy… I think it’s sexy. I’m proud of them.” But she admits the decision to get pierced would have backfired on her if medics found the cancer gene. Cassie adds, “I’m sitting there with my parents, my mom’s sobbing after she finds out that I don’t have the gene, and I’m like, `Guess what, mom and dad, I got my nipples pierced.’ “It was nerve-racking because I was like, `My mom’s going to kill me if I have this gene and I got these things.’”

New Film ft Chris Brown
Posted by maLik ΙΦΘ at 3:49 PMChris Brown is dishin to MTV about a new project:
“It’s a movie called ‘The Heist’ that I’m doing with T.I., Idris Elba and Matt Dillon. I’m playing a killer. I’m not going to give anything else away! It’s a bank-robbing movie, so it’s one of those action-packed films. You get a little different side of me in that movie. At the end of the day, I’m going to focus on my music first. [But] me being onstage enhances me being in the movie, and then me being in the movie — acting, catching characters — gives me time to transform into a different character onstage.”
Chris brown a killer? Smph!

Kanye Speaks on Gays
Posted by maLik ΙΦΘ at 2:59 PM
“You know how many people came at me, calling me ‘gay’ cause I wear my jeans the fresh way? Or ’cause I said, ‘Hey, dude, how y’all gonna say ‘f**’ right in front of a gay dude’s face and act like that’s OK?’ That sh** is disrespectful.” He continued, “It took me time to break out of the mental prisons I was in. The stereotypes of the fear of the backlash that I would get for believing in what I believe in, for accepting people for who they are.”The Blueprint 3!!!!!
Posted by maLik ΙΦΘ at 2:42 PMJay-Z has stated in many interviews that he will be creating a new album. In 2008 Timbaland stated that he will produce the entire album making a full Timbaland production. Jay-Z commented saying that it won't be a full Timbaland production, but he will contribute. Rumored guest stars include Nas, Lil Wayne and Beyonce Knowles. Production will be done by Kanye West and Timbaland. Jay-Z himself with be the executive producer. This will be the twelfth album Jay-Z has done under his Roc-A-Fella Records contract. This album is the third in the Blueprint series. Like Lil Wayne and his Carter series this might be the last Blueprint in the series. All types of rumors are spreading around about the next Jay-Z album. On August 6, 2008 the album was confirmed. Kanye West called out Jay-Z in his Glow In the Dark Tour and Jay-Z performed Jockin' Jay-Z, a remix of the song Wonderwall by Oasis. Check out Jigga on the latest edition of Vibe.

Book of the Month: The Pillars of the Earth
Posted by maLik ΙΦΘ at 2:24 PM
Well, what can I say about this masterpiece written by Ken Follett? It is hands down the best book that I have ever read! This story is set back in 12th century England, and focuses on the building of a new cathedral that is suppose to be the tallest building in the world. The many characters weave in and out of each others lives against a backdrop of war, treachery, lust for sex and power, injustice, murder, rape, and chaos. Its pretty much the medival version of Crash. Even though this novel is very long [the longest book I've ever read; 973pp], its very easy to get caught up in the lives of the people Follett has created. Pillars is simply a masterpiece that could be no more perfect.
