ABDC Week Three
Posted by malik|alexander at 12:04 AM
I'm not even going to go in on how much this weeks episode sucked ass! I just want to know how the hell are Beat Ya Feet Kings and AfroBorike safe this week and Rhythm City and Southern Movement had to battle!!! WTF???? I'm also sick of Vogue Evolution. Hate me if you want, but they cannot dance to me. They are just really good at vougueing. The judges were right this week [finally]. The best was saved for last. Rhythm City is still the winners in my eyes. I bet y'all didn't even notice that they did a tribute to Kill Bill [the judges didn't]!

Mmm yeah, check the pics! This week can y'all please vote correctly!

The Best of ABDC Week 2
Posted by malik|alexander at 12:56 AM

I still don't see why We Are Heroes is on the show [call me a hater if you want], but they cannot touch Beat Freaks with a rubber glove and a ten foot pole. I must say that I was surprised with AfroBorike's performance. I thought they were the weakest crew last week, and I SOOOO thought they were gone tonight when they had to battle Artistry In Motion. They actually had one of the strongest performances of the night. After reviewing the show I would put them and Rhythm City at the top of the totem. One thing I love about RC is that they give REAL choreography, and they kill it. I have no doubt that they will be one of the final crews. In the mean time, we'll just have to sit through whatever retarded challenges the producers can think of next.

PS; I actually voted tonight.

Follow Friday: Danielle Polanco a.k.a. Danielle Ninja
Posted by malik|alexander at 6:15 AM
Ladies and gents, I give you Follow Friday. Based loosely on the idea started by Twitter, each Friday I will introduce you to people in various industries whom I think will enhance your life. We start with Danielle Polanco. Unarguably most recognized for staring opposite Omarion in his 2006 hit music video "Touch", and for her supporting role in Step Up 2 the Streets, Danielle is one of the dance industry's elite dancers who, by the ripe age of 23, has built an extensive and impressive resume. Her unusual combination of hip-hop, popping, and voguing has gained her much attention in the music industry. A few of her video appearances include Beyonce's "Check On It" (2005), Janet Jackson's "So Excited" (2006), Beyonce's "Get Me Bodied" (and damn near every other video off B'day)(2007), Usher "Love In This Club" (2008), Chris Brown's "Forever" (2008), and Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" (2008).
Click here to view an interview she did a few years ago. Danielle Polanco can now be seen on Broadway in "West Side Story".

ABDC: This was Some Straight up Bull!
Posted by maLik ΙΦΘ at 10:57 AMHow the hell could the judges give Team Millenia the boot after this performance? Compared to the Ringmasters these guys are that shit. Hell, it was one of the best performances of the night. They have consistently given us good shows. I was really waiting for the Ringmasters to get the boot. I don't want to be a hater, but they don't dance. The tutting was the only part of their set that can be considered as dancing, and it was wack. All they did was move their hands in front of their faces, and the little leg lift at 0.38s was off. I don't think that these guys are without talent, I just don't see the dancing. Boooooooo [my new favorite word]! Check their performance below.
Real talk, I think they would make a killing at the Universoul Circus.
