The song title has really reinforced my mental image of Sean Garrett being someone's prison b*tch. I know that seems odd, but look at the man, then pop the link to listen to his voice!
The video was directed by Wayne Isham, who also did Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs,” ‘N Sync’s “Bye Bye Bye” and Britney Spears‘ “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman.” The song is the first single off OneRepublic’s next album Waking Up, out November 17.
Just got word that NERD added a fourth member to the band! And its a chick! Her name is Rhea. According to Vibe.com, Rhea auditioned for NERD via Skype. Her rendition of “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” impressed the band. “It was just a really good time,” she recalled. “When I came in there and I met them and they heard me sing, I think they decided it was the right fit.” NERD are now prepping to release a new album “Instant Gratification” which is expected to be released in 2010. As for this year, they will be supporting Jay-Z for his upcoming “Blueprint 3” tour along with Wale and J. Cole. I might be a bit flabbergasted right now, but I know that I really cant wait for the album to come out next year. This comes as a surprise because they usually take three to four years off in between albums. Follow the jump for more pics.
The internet and the world is abuzz after Alexander McQueen debuted his spring 2010 line in Paris earlier this week. The show started with a video depicting a woman evolving into an underwater being, and the subsequent models and fashion represented each stage of the evolution process with the final model being the completely evolved creature. The show was streamed live in collaboration with director Nick Knight and Showstudio.com instantly turning it into an international event. Follow the link to view the show in its entirety.
On December 1, 2009, Mr Hudson is set to release a new album, Straight No Chaser (via G.O.O.D. Music and Mercury Records), executive produced by Kanye West. It took a minute for this single to grow on me, but I really like it now.
J.LO is back! LMAO. Today she released a new song entitled "Fresh Out The Oven" ft. Pit Bull and produced by the Neptunes. As a singer, I wouldn't say that Jenny has pipes, but as an artist, Jenny got swag. We need more females in hip hop / r&b right now to provide alternatives to the Beyonce saturated industry. Pop the top to listen.
Taking on a more designer approach, Nike revises their standard Blazer model into a more sophisticated sneaker design, pairing multi-textile uppers with a swoosh-less silhouette, aside from a small printed version. A Black/Maroon colorways starts off the new campaign, although other colorways will surely follow suit. Stay tuned for further news in the coming weeks. Available now at OSneaker. I like what Nike has been doing with their SB line lately, and they’ve just dropped another good shoe for October 2009. With a clear Halloween influence, the latest Blazer Premium features a white canvas upper with a prominent red “blood splatter” print. A grey suede Swoosh alongside red and off-white panels complete the palette. Look out for a release at Nike SB retailers later this month.
