I know I'm a little late on this one, but I just saw this film a minute ago, and I am slightly disturbed. I'm not one to bash anyone's beliefs, but these people had kids praying to a cardboard cut out of George Bush! Really????! And they wonder why people view them as fanatics. This is just a reminder of how people have taken God out of context and use IT as a propeller for nonsense. They think they can use God to control the government? How unconstitutional is that?! Isn't that the reason the first European settlers left Europe? This country is founded upon the belief that all citizens have the right to their own religious beliefs. Michelle Obama an AKA?????

Sunday night (July 13th), it was announced at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Boule (National Convention) that Michelle Obama will be inducted as an honorary member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Sources on the scene at the National convention tell me the ceremony is set to take place this week in Washington, DC during the Sorority’s National Convention festivities.
I won’t hold it against her since I’m sure it was strictly a timing convenience for which Sorority she would be inducted into since this is the centennial anniversary of the Sorority and the convention is happening this week in DC.
Congrats to Mrs. Obama and congrats to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. But I do have one pressing question; whats the point of having honorary members?

When Good Jokes Go Bad

Here's the upcoming cover of The New Yorker. As you can see it features Barack in a Muslim head wrap and Michelle looking like some kind of militant Black woman [check the afro]. Also depicted is a burning American flan and a portrait of Osama Bin Laden. Apparently the people over at The New Yorker tried to make light of all the terrorist jokes made about the Obama family. They failed horribly. Both Senator Obama and McCain have called this image tastless and offensive. I personally think it would have been better if it depicted McCain and his wife in this setting. Reversing the roles probably would have made the joke more obvious.
In other news, later today Mr. George W. Bush is set to lift the ban on offshore drilling [for oil of course]. No surprise there. This guy clearly doesn't understand the meaning of alternative fuel, and shows no concern for the rising costs of oil. Oh well........ Obama '08.

Yung Berg is an up and coming rapper from Chicago. His first single was “Sexy Lady” which features R&B singer Junior. Aside from the little facts we know about this boy, it seems that he has a thing for dark women. It’s just too bad for him that it’s not too much of a good thing he had for them…

I’m kinda racist… I don’t really like dark butts too much… It’s rare that I do dark butts. Like really rare… It’s like, no darker than me. No darker than me. I love the pool test…. If you can be like ‘Yo, baby. I met you in the club. Let’s go back to my house. Jump in the pool exactly like you are.’–And you don’t come looking better wet than you were before you got in the pool then that’s not a good look. Any girls that use brown gel to lay down her baby hair is not poppin.

.....And this is the ignant shit that I'm always talking about. There are enough people in this world to hate Blacks without us hating ourselves. No offense to anyone, but to be proud of being light skinned, is to be proud to be partially white. Thats like saying "ha ha, someone in my family got rapped by a slave owner!" After all we've been through, its very sad that many people hold on to this lame ideology that light skinned is better than dark skinned. And just for everyone's information, any person of African heritage should know that their ancestors whould be shamed to know that anyone of their leniage would ever be born with light skinned. They called it sasso-burro. Yung Berg can get it in the ear! Reading is fundamental; black is beautiful.

Ladies and gents, I believe this is the only new show on television that features a black family in good representation. Not only are these people down to earth, but they are a shining example of what a family should aspire to be. Don't miss Run's House this Wednesday @ 10 on MTV.

Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince

Jeez le freakin weez! I cant wait for this one [I'm too old, I know lol]. In this one Harry believes that Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape are up to something. Harry falls in love with Ginny Weasley, Ron's sister. Towards the end Professor Dumbledore and Harry face an army of Inferi and return to Hogwarts to find that Death Eaters have attacked. The film is due for release November 21, 2008.

BET Vs. MTV

By now you all should know how I feel about BET [Black Exploitation Television] and its shows. Someone brought up the idea that I should be boycotting MTV also since it is the source of BET's inspiration for its own shows. Well, I will do no such thing. Mainly because MTV is way better that its Viacom counterpart, but largely due to the fact that BET stands for black entertainment, and as a black person I find it to be a constant embarrassment that only perpetuates negative stereotypes, and that's not very entertaining to me. In short, as a network geared towards expressing Black America, BET continues to fail. It has become merely an opportunity for untalented and uneducated hip hop killers and like-minded television producers to make a quick dollar.

Michael Jackson in a Wheelchair

The King of Pop was recently spotted being pushed in a wheelchair during a family shopping trip in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

A source was quoted stating, “There are constant rumors of a Michael Jackson comeback but it was shocking to see that in reality he is a shadow of his former self……He seemed too weak even to get out of the chair to cross the road himself…He stayed in the store for two hours and wheeled himself around in the chair the whole time…The skin on his hands was peeling, almost like a snake’s. He kept his mask on all the time. His security man was at his side and nobody approached him. It is really sad.”

Word on the Internet is that the Jackson family might possibly be getting ready to begin filming a reality television series. WOW! How interesting is that?!

The founding members of the hardcore punk band, Bad Brains has teamed up with Vans on a collection of apparel and sneakers. The diverse nature of Bad Brains created an eclectic sound that included a mix of punk, metal, jazz and reggae. The Rastafarian combo have broken up and reformed over the years, now manned by the classic and current lineup of singer H.R., guitarist Dr. Know, bassist Darryl Jennifer, and drummer Earl Hudson. No word yet on a release date.

5. Tiger Woods. Anyone who would ever go out of their way to deny their heritage is a huge sell out. How many times has this guy stated that he is mixed with Chinese and a bunch of other bull?The fact of the matter is that Tiger Woods id Black! it doesn't matter how many white women he sleeps with, how many times he dyes his hair blond, he will always be black.






4. Juan Williams. Any and all Black persons who work for Fox News is a sell out. This guy even admitted that the fact that Obama is Black and has a Muslim name is an issue for him. In fact, not only are the black people at Fox a bunch of sell outs, any black person who prefers Fox news is a sell out.





3. Al Sharpton. What the hell does this guy do for a living? Sure he marched with King, sure he is a civil right activist, but where the hell is he when Black people aren't in distress? This man tries so hard to be the spokesperson for Black America. Al Sharpton, please sit down!




4. Condeliza Rice. "Weapons of mass destruction"! That should be enough to rest my case, but what really grinds my gears is the fact that she still insist on riding George Bush's dick to this day! The story of Codeliza reminds me of how slaves died alongside their owners in the Revolutionary War. They themselves, who have been beaten and stolen from their families, where not fighting for their own freedom, they were fighting to free their owners from high taxes. In spite of every thing, this house Negro has stayed loyal to massa!




1. The Black Republicans. Black and Republican?????! What an oxymoron. These people here are the biggest sell outs because they are riding McCain's nuts real hard right now. I seriously don't see how anyone could vote for that guy. Sure he has more years of experience than Obama, but compare the two and its plain to see that Barak has done so much more in his shore time as senator than McCain has in all of his 20 something years.

After an interview with a Fox “News” correspondent, Jesse Jackson conveniently whispered that he wanted to “cut Obama’s nuts off” while on camera. Of course this uncle Tom apologized stating “Well, they were hurtful and wrong, that’s the whole point,” Jackson said of his words. “And when you make mistakes you should not equivocate. You should be quick to go into offensive and not try to be evasive. And if it was said to him personally or in some public forum it would be even more hurtful. In this case, my error was responding to a question before a live mic. And so when he does hear them they will not be helpful; they will be hurtful. We have a relationship that can survive this.” Obama accepted.
It doesn't matter thought, Obama is still a rock star.....

Guess Whose Back in the News......

JonBenet Ramsey (Agust 6, 1990 - December 26, 1996) was a child beauty pageant contestant made famous by her Chirstmas time murder and the subsequent media coverage. She was found dead in the basement of her parents' home in Bolder, Colorado, nearly eight hours after she was reported missing. The case is notable in both its longevity and the media interest it has generated in the US. After several grand jury hearings, the case is still unsolved.

Apparently people just cant let this one go, and frankly, this slightly grinds my gears. Not to take anything away for this little girls life, but I just don't understand why this country is obsessed with missing and dead white women. Black women make up over 33% of all missing persons in the U.S. Why is it that we never hear their stories?
